- offers an overview of selected information obligations for entrepreneurs arising from currently effective legislation
- gathers the obligations in one place
- contributes , through simplified interpretation, to increasing clarity on the obligations for entrepreneurs
Offers the possibility to search for the obligations concerned:
- natural persons conducting business only
- legal persons only
- both groups of entrepreneurs
It offers the possibility of filtering by various parameters - by number of the legal regulation, year of the legal regulation, keyword, type of legal regulation.
For each obligation it is indicated:
- from which legal provision it derives
- a clear description of the obligation concerned
- in which section, paragraph, letter or article, as appropriate, the obligation is set out
- in what form and how the obligation can be fulfilled
- the frequency of compliance with the obligation
The outputs can be downloaded in Excel, PDF and XML formats. The REST API integration service can also be used.
In a more detailed view you can find out:
- the size categories of enterprises to which the obligation applies
- a more detailed specification of the entity to which the obligation applies
- an estimate of the time needed to comply with the obligation
- the penalties for non-compliance
- the authority responsible for monitoring compliance
- origin of the obligation (national legislation, EU regulation or EP and Council directive)

DIP news subscription - after entering an email address, informs the user of changes in obligations or parameters on the effective date of the changes.

Statistics tracking the trend in the administrative burden on businesses are also available.
The dip.gov.cz website is accessible in accordance with Act No. 99/2019 Coll. on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications and on Amendments to Act No. 365/2000 Coll. on Public Administration Information Systems and on Amendments to Certain Other Acts, as amended. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is still working to make these websites accessible to all people without distinction.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade declares that the information contained in the Database of Information Obligations is of a general informative nature only and does not constitute a binding legal norm in itself. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is not liable for the accuracy and completeness of the information and data contained in the database or for any damage caused as a result of the use of the information contained therein.
In addition to Czech, the information on the website is also available in English, German, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is not responsible for the literal translation of the outputs from the DIP website into English/German/Ukrainian/Vietnamese, as this is handled automatically by DeepL and Google translator applications.
In the future, it is planned to add additional features, e.g. connection with the Entrepreneur Portal or AI (artificial intelligence) involvement.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is the administrator of the database, which is supported by the Expert Group of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for reducing the administrative burden on entrepreneurs.
The Information Obligations Database project is part of the National Recovery Plan, from which it is funded.
