Associations of legal or natural persons engaged in animal breeding and breeders who are their members, entrepreneurs who are engaged in animal breeding as part of their business activities, or other persons who are engaged in animal breeding for profit, or breeders who breed 3 or more female dogs, are obliged to keep records of puppies born, sold and donated.

The organiser of a public animal show is obliged to notify the regional veterinary administration and the competent municipality at least 7 days in advance.

Any entrepreneur or sole trader who breeds animals for pet trade or trades in such animals, operates an equestrian or carriage business, or breeds animals for circus or public performances, shall notify the relevant regional veterinary administration of the exercise of the trade no later than 30 days before commencing or ceasing the business.

All facilities using experimental animals shall prepare and submit at the end of each year a summary report of their activities for the calendar year, including statistical tables.

Obligation on the reporting unit to complete the Poultry Statement (MZe) 4-12 Monthly statement of purchases, stocks, sales and prices of poultry and poultry products by the 15th day after the reference period. The form is to be completed only by economic entities that have received a letter notifying them of their reporting obligations to the Ministry of Agriculture.
