Obligation for the operator to keep records of equipment that is required to be leak tested for fluorinated greenhouse gases. Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 573/2024 sets out the information that must be recorded.

Undertakings supplying fluorinated greenhouse gases shall keep records of relevant information relating to persons purchasing F-gases.

Record keeping by undertakings selling non-hermetically sealed equipment filled with fluorinated greenhouse gases (as defined in Annex I and Section 1 of Annex II) of the equipment sold and the certified undertakings that carry out the installation.

Record keeping and retention by undertakings producing (including as a by-product), supplying or receiving fluorinated glass fibre gases listed in Section 1 of Annex I for uses exempted from the quota system (pursuant to Article 16(2))

Obligation for an undertaking to certify that products and equipment containing partially fluorinated greenhouse gases (HFCs) are counted towards the EU quota system when placed on the EU market. This applies to refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, heat pumps and, from 1 January 2025, metered dose inhalers (asthma inhalers).
