Obligation for importers of raw materials or metals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold) whose import volumes exceed specified thresholds to comply with prescribed due diligence obligations in the supply chain and to maintain documentation confirming this (including, in some cases, the results of independent third-party audits). Importers may be selected by the inspection body to check compliance with the obligations and shall provide assistance to the inspector during the inspection. Importers shall provide the Ministry of Industry and Trade with reports of any third party audit.
