An application for registration in the list of experts shall be submitted by the applicant to the Ministry of Justice on the prescribed form. In the application, the applicant shall indicate the field and branch and, at his or her discretion, the specialisation in which he or she wishes to practise as an expert.

The expert is obliged to notify the Ministry of Justice of changes in the facts that are a condition for the performance of expert activities no later than within 10 working days from the date on which the change occurred.

The expert is obliged to notify the Ministry of Justice of any change in the data entered in the list of experts within 10 working days from the date of the change.

When the expert becomes aware of a fact for which he or she may not perform an expert report, he or she shall immediately notify the contracting authority of that fact.

The expert is obliged to provide the Ministry of Justice with proof that he/she is insured against the obligation to compensate for damage caused in connection with the performance of expert activities.
