Obligation of the manufacturer, usually in the context of an inspection by a supervisory authority, to provide a copy of the EU Declaration of Conformity at the request of the supervisory authority (Czech Office for Testing of Weapons and Ammunition).

The manufacturer or importer of pyrotechnic articles shall provide the notified body (the Czech Bureau for Testing of Weapons and Ammunition) and the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, on the basis of their instructions, with information on all registration numbers of pyrotechnic articles which he manufactures or imports, together with the name of the product, the type or sub-type of the product and the place of manufacture, on the basis of records which he must keep on the products for at least 10 years after their placing on the market.

A manufacturer or importer of pyrotechnic articles must keep records of all registration numbers of pyrotechnic articles he manufactures or imports, together with the name of the product, the type or sub-type of the product and the place of manufacture, for at least 10 years after the product has been placed on the market.

Upon request, the economic operator shall provide the competent control authority (the Czech Bureau for Testing of Weapons and Ammunition) with information from a list which the economic operator is obliged to keep (and shall keep for 10 years from the date of delivery of the product) and which shall include information on each economic operator who has delivered or to whom he has delivered a pyrotechnic article (name, business name, identification number and date of delivery of the pyrotechnic article).

The economic operator (manufacturer, importer or distributor of pyrotechnic articles) shall keep a list in which information on each economic operator who has supplied or to whom it has supplied a pyrotechnic article shall be entered. The list shall include the name, business name, identification number and date of supply of the pyrotechnic article. That information on the economic operator and the supply of the pyrotechnic article shall be kept for at least 10 years after the supply.
