A health service provider may provide health services outside a health care facility as part of preventive care aimed at the prevention of disease and its early detection on the basis of a permit granted by the regional authority. Outside a health care facility, a provider may provide only such preventive health care services, the provision of which is not conditional on the technical and material equipment necessary for their performance in a health care facility.

The provider of social services is obliged to notify the regional authority responsible for the place of provision of social services of the planned provision of health services in social service facilities without obtaining a health service authorisation before commencing such services.

The opinion of the State Institute for Drug Control (hereinafter referred to as "SÚKL") on the technical and material equipment of the medical facility where pharmacy care will be provided pursuant to Act No. 372/2011 Coll., on Health Services and Conditions of their Provision (Health Services Act), as amended. The authorisation to provide pharmacy care may be granted only on the basis of a binding opinion of the SÚKL on the technical and material equipment of the healthcare facility where such care will be provided.

Obligation of a person established or having its registered office in another Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation to notify in writing the regional authority in whose administrative district it will provide such services of its intention to provide visiting services or home care at least 7 days before the date of commencement of such services.

If the person referred to in Section 20(1) of the Health Services Act ceases to be authorised under the legislation of the State of his/her establishment to provide the health services under which he/she provided visiting services or home care, he/she is obliged to notify the regional authority in whose administrative district he/she provided such services without delay in writing.
