The operator of a service station is obliged to submit to the Ministry of Industry and Trade by 28 February each year a summary report on the quantity and composition of the individual types of fuel sold by him in the previous calendar year at the service station operated by him.

The fuel distributor is obliged to register with the competent customs office before starting its activity. The application for registration shall be submitted only electronically.

The owner of the filling station is obliged to notify the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the data stipulated by Act No. 311/2006 Coll., the Fuel Act, before putting the filling station into operation and is also obliged to notify the putting into operation or termination of operation of the filling station and any change in the monitored data.

The fuel distributor is obliged to notify the competent customs office of the data relating to the distribution of fuel for the calendar month necessary for the performance of the activities of the authorities of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic and the authorities of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic. The notification shall be submitted within 20 days after the end of the calendar month.
