The operator of an installation (a stationary technical unit in which one or more industrial activities are carried out and any other directly related activities which are technically connected with the industrial activities taking place at the site in question and which could affect emissions and pollution, unless it is a stationary technical unit used for research, development and testing of new products and processes) is obliged to report to the locally competent regional authority any planned change in the use, method of operation or extent of the installation which could have consequences for the environment.

The operator of the installation (stationary technical unit) in which one or more industrial activities take place and any other directly related activities which are technically connected with the industrial activities taking place on the site concerned and which could affect emissions and pollution, unless it is a stationary technical unit used for research, development and testing of new products and processes) shall be obliged to prevent accidents from occurring, to report immediately to the permitting authority and the Czech Environmental Inspectorate all emergencies, accidents of equipment and accidental releases of pollutants from the equipment into the environment which have serious effects on the environment, and breaches of the binding conditions of operation set out in the integrated permit.

The operator of the installation is obliged to submit annually to the permitting authority a report in electronic form with data on the fulfilment of the conditions of the integrated permit in the scope specified by the authority in the integrated permit. Where the operator of the installation has reported some of the same data required to demonstrate compliance with the conditions of the integrated permit in the context of reporting obligations under other legislation through the integrated environmental reporting system or through the data repository of the Ministry of the Environment for environmental reporting, it shall be sufficient to provide a reference to those data.

The rights and obligations under the integrated permit are transferred to and binding on the legal successor of the operator of the installation. The legal successor is obliged to notify the transfer of the integrated permit to the competent permitting authority within 15 days from the effective date of the transfer or transfer of rights and obligations under a special legal regulation (e.g. Commercial Code, Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data and on the amendment of certain acts, as amended).
