Obligation of owners of forest land and other land to notify the state forest administration authority within 30 days from the date of conclusion of the agreement of the lease, sublease or loan of forest or other land if they last or are to last less than five years. This agreement must be in writing, otherwise it is null and void.

When applying for a licence to draw up forest management plans, the preparer of forest management plans is obliged to submit the necessary documents: an officially certified copy of a document certifying that he has attained professional forestry education, a description of his previous professional forestry experience with an indication of the number of years of experience; a legal entity shall also submit an extract from the Commercial Register not older than 3 months.

Legal entities and natural persons obliged to manage according to a forest management plan are obliged to submit these plans for approval to the state forest administration authority (regional authority) within 60 days of the expiry of the previous plan. One copy of the approved plan submitted shall be kept on file with the approving authority.

If during the validity of the plan there are changes in the conditions that necessitate a change in the binding provision of the plan, especially in terms of forest protection or ensuring the fulfilment of forest functions, the forest owner must apply to the approving authority of the state forest administration for a change in the relevant binding provision.

Obligation of the forest owner to preferably carry out random logging in such a way that the development, spread and overgrowth of harmful organisms is prevented. If random logging would result in a continuous clearing of more than 0.2 ha, the forest owner shall notify the state forestry authority at least 14 days in advance of such random logging.
